KiddyKare are recruiting for a lovely, family-run day nursery in Fleet.
Rated ‘GOOD’ by Ofsted and includes a long-standing team with excellent qualification and deployment levels.
Due to an upcoming promotion, they are looking for a new nursery manager to take over and continue guiding the team to provide outstanding childcare.
Salary - £35,000-£39,000
The nursery is open 8-6 and the role is 41 hours over 4.5 days.

This is a fantastic position which will require you to:
- Work with the existing management team to oversee the smooth running of the nursery and to uphold and thoroughly embed the Outstanding standards which we are striving for. This includes sharing and supporting the vision of the Directors, and General Manager's views of how the nursery should be run.
- Be confident in your ability to make decisions and the ability to lead. An extensive job role, you will be adept in working out nursery rotas, suitable staff deployment, understanding occupancy, employee queries, supervisions, hosting staff meetings, dealing with external agencies, overseeing and reinforcing stringent safeguarding and health and safety policies, overseeing apprentices, conducting room and staff obs, supporting the recruitment process and reinforcing high quality of teaching and learning and continually developing your staff team.
- Have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS, policies, procedures and the latest Ofsted trends. This includes up to date training on Fundamental British Values, the Prevent Duty, FGM and GDPR. Be hungry to continue building on your professional knowledge and sharing this with your team.
- Have a genuine love of childcare and whilst we aim for Management to be supernumerary, in unavoidable instances, be happy to jump into ratio when needed. As a competent Manager, you will use these opportunities to observe practice in the rooms and build strong relationships with your team.
To join, you need a minimum Level 3 in Childcare, a suitable level 2 qualification in Maths and have a proven track record of successful management experience- with salary reflective of this. You will need up-to-date Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training. A high level of written and verbal English is essential, as well as basic ICT skills.
