Description | KiddyKare are currently recruiting for an experienced, enthusiastic Room Leader to work in a Montessori Nursery in Northwood Hills with a competitive salary from £25,000 to £32,000 pa. Complimentary team building activities and staff events Staff childcare discount Paid DBS with a requirement for you to pay £13 each year for the Update Service What we need from you: A full and relevant Level 3 Qualification in Early Years is essential for this role. A Montessori Diploma is desirable. Previous experience of working as a Room Leader is essential. Being a positive role model to your team. An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. To be passionate, motivated, have the ability to work well within a team and be able to adapt to a fun and inspiring way of working. Good ICT skills Your duties as a Room Leader: Working as part of a team to ensure the nursery runs smoothly and efficiently. Caring for all children and ensuring their personal and hygiene needs are met daily. Ensuring the children are happy, settled and content. Observing, assessing, and planning for the children's individual needs, ensuring their development is continuously monitored and create opportunities for children to progress. Keeping up to date and informed of legislation in relation to early education and ensure that all paperwork is in keeping with the EYFS and Ofsted Requirements. Becoming familiarised with the nursery's policies and procedures and working within these. Leading a team, encouraging and raising practice daily. Delegating tasks to your team to ensure the smooth running of the room. Sharing creative ideas and willingly involving your team in decision making for the classroom e.g., activities/planning Forming professional and friendly partnerships with parents and forming secure relationships with the children. We take safeguarding very seriously and a current and clean Disclosure Barring Services (DBS) Certificate is essential.
